ashley smirked, expression never changing. she couldn't resist annoying amytal's new boyfriend. come to think of it, ashley couldn't keep her hands off anything amytal had. she had come here stressed and she felt it had almost lifted. her mind flew to the fights she'd had with the wood sisters and mandy. perhaps she wasn't angry anymore...but it would take her a while to work up the nerve to actually apologize. actually, ashley was nowhere near it. well, constructive criticism can't hurt can it? i mean, you took my sister out for an hour and she returns hurt and insane enough to like you... she smirked. she was testing him. seeing how far she could go before he snapped. she smiled toward tex, green eyes sparkling. life was all a joke.

Colt looked at her a bit strangely. It was that way before the accident, you know. I just can never keep the pretty women off me. He smirked, playing along to her foolish behavior. He got a good leash on his anger and buried it, a slight, wild playfulness leaping into his eyes. He wasn't dating Amy yet, but he planned to be, soon. He was old-fashioned when it came to dating, and he always would be. He'd only date somebody that he thought he could one day marry. Amy was smart, beautiful, and practical, he could see himself with her. That's why he wanted to date her.
Tex was completly different, he dated for fun and fun alone. Marriage was the furthest thing from his mind. He never thought of marriage, just of how much fun they'd have. He wrapped his arms around Ashleys waist and hugged her to him, kissing her gently and quickly. He smirked as he pulled away, keeping one arm around her.

ashley smirked once more as she pulled away from tex. maybe that book i threw at her this morning gave her a head injury... she muttered. it was true, ashley could be abusive in her bad moods. and amytal suffered through it without complaining. what was strange was that ashley was so open about it. she honestly didn't care. she needed somebody who would change that for her. though tex didn't seem like one of the people who would change ashley.
amytal appeared, stumbling into the room as she leaned against the wall to make her entrance. she was still weak, but she'd decided she would have to get up at one time or another. she still felt that she was trespassing and that she should go home soon. what is this talk about me having mental issues? she muttered, playfully accusing of her sister.

Tex smirked at her, she was spunky, but she was also kinda spoiled, he'd fix that, but it would take a while. He would work with her just as he would a filly. Gentle her, not break her. You throw books at your sister? That can't be very ladylike, now can it? He joked as he looked towards Colt. He looked at Amy when she walked into the room. He smiled softly when Colt jumped up and rushed across the room.
Colt's eyes were full of worry, and for once, it wasn't for his sister. Amy, you shouldn't be up yet. He spoke a bit louder than usual because he was worried. He grabbed her gently around the waist and steadied her, not wanting her to fall on the hard vinyl flooring.

ashley shook her head in agreement with a smirk. no, it's not. but who's concerned about me being ladylike? she snapped playfully.
amytal smiled genuinely up at colt. i'm fine, colt. really. she murmered. she was glad he was so worried about her, but she didn't want him to wear himself out helping her. she would get along just fine...eventually.

{can you make a board for Colt's stables, so I can RP him cleaning the stallions up?}
Tex laughed loudly. Well, I can assure you that I am VERY concerned with you being ladylike. He said, lowering his voice a bit as leaned back against the counter. He was really starting to like Ashley, but he was determined not to be hurt by a woman again. He'd learned to not get too involved, not let anyone get close to knowning the real him. He acted tough, and he was, but not as tough as he acted. He would never admit that he needed someone, it was too weak, but maybe, just maybe, someone, or some woman, could change his mind. He'd been disappointed a lot in his life, maybe Ashley would be the one that made him take chances again. Maybe she could teach him as much as he could teach her.
Colt smiled, realizing he was probably smothering her with attention. Alright, you need help, just ask. He turned away to wash his hands so he could help with dinner. She didn't need someone to tend to her every need, she was old enough to know what she needed. If she needed him, she'd ask. Otherwise, he needed to chill. He was getting to involved, too crazy over a girl. He knew that it wasn't wise. He needed sometime away from her so he could gather his thoughts. I'm gonna go water the horses, then I'll take 'em to the barn. Tex can take ya'll girls home after dinner. He said as he turned and walked out the door without another word. He had to get a grip, she was just a girl, so why did he care so much? He sighed and grabbed a bucket out of his truck and filled it up at the spigot and opened the trailer door. He'd take care of the silver stallion until he was well, then he'd train him like he did Valentine. Slowly, easy, gently. Then he'd make him a present for Amy after he was well trained and his wounds had healed. He patted Amy's mare on the shoulder and watered her, he'd take her to the girls stables before he took the others to his barn.
Novalle rolled her eyes. Boys. So useless. She smiled at the thought. They could be sweet ,but they were mainly a BIG waste of time, for everyone. They caused too many problems, they caused silly girls to go nuts and then they fought. They were like useless animals without any purpose at all. Of course, they were cute at times. So they were kind of like dogs, big, weird, two legged dogs. Yep, they were all a bad lot. She stirred the soup and then checked the fish. Almost done.

ooc: done. just pm me what you want the description to be
ashley smirked. why in the world would you be concerned with that? she flipped her blonde locks back behind her shoulders. amytal rolled her eyes and limped toward the kitchen, leaning against the counter. can i help you with anything, novalle? she murmered, green eyes watching the food she was preparing as she weakly attempted to keep her mind off of colt.

Colt finished watering the horses and then went to Tex's trailer. He unloaded Aztec, Lady, and Melosa, and loaded them into his trailer. He could eat when he came back, right now he needed to get the horses bedded down for the night. He shut the door, to the trailer, there was only one space in the trailer not filled. He was glad that the horses weren't Thoroughbreds, otherwise he might not have fitted them all. He hopped in the cab of the trucj and crank it, then coasted onto the highway in the direction of Amy's stables. He'd have to drop Amy's mare off first and then he'd take all the other horses to his barn and patch 'em up before he headed back. Maybe by then he'd get his head straight and remember what was important. Novalle. He had to get her through highschool before he even thought about anything else. So why couldn't he stop think about Amy? He rolled his eyes, he was just being silly. It was just a phase, he'd get over it. Yet he knew he wouldn't. He really like Amy, and he rarely fell for girls after knowing them for a day. He headed towards her barn, knowning that he was just being stupid. He needed to grow up, get ahold of himself, just a girl, just a girl. A really, really pretty, smart, funny girl. He shook his head again and started thinking about the silver stallion.
Tex smiled as he watched her, his pale green eyes flickering with humor. He reached over her shoulder and grabbed a small wisp of her long blonde hair and twirled around his finger, tugging it lightly. Hmmm, I wonder. He smirked as he lowered his mouth to hers, kissing her softly.
Novalle smiled. Naw, that's okay, it's almost done anyways. She said as she finished stirring the soup.
