and here's the story:
Many, many years ago, two special foals were born, a year apart. One was a true white filly, the other a shining black colt. The filly was named Larka; the colt, Satan. They became very close friends and did almost everything together. When they were yearlings, they would glance toward eachother, but quickly look away if the other caught them watching. As two year olds, they both realized that they loved eachother. They became very close and were never seen apart.
But then, in the Spring of Satan's third year, he was kicked out of the herd because he sassed the Lead stallion, eventually attacking him. Larka was devestated, but Satan, before he left, promised that if she would wait for him, Satan would come back and they would run away together. Larka promised to wait, so Satan dissapeared.
So spring passed and summer came, and after that fall and winter. Months passed, and eventually a year, and still Satan didn't return. Larka was heartbroken. When the Lead Stallion lost his herd to another, Larka hardly noticed. She was loosing the will to live. She had thought Satan had died, or worse, forgotten about her. Another few months passed, and slowly Larka got over Satan, and went with the new Lead stallion.
But Satan did come back. He'd found a new place to live, a nice sheltered valley, and it was that that had made him take so long. He came back under the cover of the new moon. So, slipping silently through the dark, he searched for Larka. He looked through the herd and didn't find her there, but then he heard voices in the trees. Pricking his ears, he moved forward eagerly, sure it was Larka, for he'd caught her scent on the wind.
But as he reached the trees and peered through, what he saw made his heart bitter, angry, and, for the rest of his life, horribly heart-broken.
Larka stood, and at her side was the new lead stallion, a tall bay. Satan pinned his ears back and stood, shoked. The bay stallion nuzzled Larka tenderly, then mounted her. Larka gave a soft, loving nicker, and Satan's heart sank.
All the bay and Larka saw then was a flash of black, the glittering of Satan's teeth and the furious flames in his eyes. He went strait for the bay stallion, and his teeth found the stallions throat.
It was over in about thrity seconds. The bay stallion lay on the ground, bleeding from his throat and the crushed skull that had killed him. Larka stood by, eyes wide in horror.
"What have you done!?"
Larka screamed, looking from her stag to Satan. Satan looked at her a moment, his face horrible to look at. Then, Satan said something so horrible, so nasy, that Larka was temporarily forzen with the force of it. The words are lost to time and history, and none but Larka know it, and even she is forgetting those horrible words. Seconds later, Satan was gone. He had dissapeared into the trees.
Larka grew to hate Satan, and Satan in turn hated Larka. They're whole lives revolved around making the other miserable, but Satan was the worse of the two, believing it was his right to be mad, and that Larka had betrayed him. Both horses gathered followers. Larka taught her followers goodness and kindness, and that they should be forever enemies of Satan and his followers, but if they could, convince as many of Satan's followers that Satan was wrong, and, if they could, get all of Satan's followers to believe in Larka. Satan taught his followers hate and bitterness, and to, at all costs, kill Larka and her kind. Satan called his followers the Darq horses, and made himself God of them. Larka, because Satan called his horses Darqs, called her's the Lights and she became Goddess of them.
The story continues...
Years passed, and Satan and Larka's hate for eachother only worsened. One day, a Darq horse called Brechin showed up, claiming to be Satan's brother. Brechin was taken to Satan, and they lived together.
But one day, Brechin travled to Heaven to ask Larka a few questions about the past. Things did not go as planned. Brechin and Larka fell for eachother, bred, and had a little black filly together. They called her Cursed Beauty.
Satan found out about the filly, but not about his brother's part in her birth. Satan captured the filly and Brechin was put in charge of her. One day, Larka came for her filly, for she'd descovered where she was. Larka tried her best to rescue her filly, but to no avail.
Then one day, Brechin told Beauty the truth. He was her father. Beauty, unable to handle this, fled.
She was never found by Satan, Larka, or Brechin, but formed her own alliance, the Neutrals. She assigned a king and queen of Neutrals, then dissapeared. Satan and Larka did the same; appointed kings and queen, then left.
Larka left to find her daughter, and Satan left for he wanted to find Beauty before Larka did. Nobody knows what happened to Brechin, but it is believed that one day all them will come back.
Anyway, I know she'd reallt appreciate it if ya'll join, and I would too, alright, ttyl, hope to see ya'll there!!! ;D
