Wyatt's eyes cut to Eva, silently asking her to behave while, at the same time, he asked the black Arabian the same thing. He had heard all that she hadn't said in her tones. She was slightly jealous, and perhaps a bit pi**ed off, though she had no right to be either. Not only had he just met Jodie, but he had only met Eva once as well. He heard Malibu rear slightly, and he bit his lip, waiting for Rio's reaction. He hoped that the stallion would keep moving, and still trust him, but, then again, he wasn't so sure how well that would happen.

"Jodie," came the curt reply, still answering even though she knew the girl was not interested. Besides right now there was more to concentrate on know with Rio acting up, he was bad enough with normal colored stallions but he hated white ones. Thinking desprately of what his last owners she watched as he gave his famous buck an' spin.
Rio hated the scent that the other stallion was giving off, that he was not worth bothering with. That hit a raw nerve and he shot up in the air his hind legs supporting the rest of his body. As he was coming back to eart he swirled to face the other stallion and started thundering toward him with his head raised high.
Suddenly it hit her "Wyatt whistle to him!" Jodie cried out as loudly as she could without frightening him even more.

Eva smirked as Wyatt glanced at her, she could read his eyes easily. She gave an innocent little shrug, eyebrows raised before returning her attention on Jodie’s misbehaving horse. It was only slightly more difficult to have complete control of Malibu as she was bareback and bridle-less. Biting her lip as she contemplated things, thinking quickly as she only had a few moments before the stallion would be charging her and Malibu, not that Malibu cared much anymore. He was kind of lazily plowing through the grass, nibbling away as the other stallion went wild. This made Eva snort slightly, watching vaguely as Wyatt kept a firm hand on the horse.
Gasping slightly as she saw the black mass barreling towards her and her Andalusian, she closed her eyes for a moment, taking a deep breath before swinging Malibu out of the way with her legs. She glanced back, and then murmured something. “I’m going to leave, before this gets out of hand.” She said, hopping to be heard over the thundering and pounding of the black Arabian. She shrugged as she glanced back at Jodie and then rested a hand on her easygoing stallion’s shoulder. “Com’on, there’s no point in risking hurting you with some crazy stallion, is there?” She murmured gently to the stallion before the pair went into the masses of trees and faded out slowly.

Wyatt didn't hear Jodie's panicked words. It was as if everything went into slow motion and he focused only on the stallion beneath him. He braced his legs against the stirrups, rising high on his neck, before he sat down, hard. His hands gently pulled the reins, but the message was clear. It said: Cut the crap. Despite his movements that were all performed in a split second, they were always gentle, and firm. Nothing about them was harsh. He easily sat throught the stallion's buck, as he had been on the bronc bustin' circuit for three years, until he broke his leg that fifth time. After that, he had quit, but not without plenty of Championship buckles and Trophy saddles to fill his apartment. Wyatt didn't see as Eva disappeared either. All his being was focused into the stallion that was throwing a fit. Jodie must have been a superb rider to stick on him in the first place, but he didn't say it. He never gave out compliments, especially to riders.

Angerd at the girls smart remarks Jodie was about to say something back when she quickly collected her anger so it boiled inside her and smiled sweetly. As the girl disapeared her anger cooled. Rio was no crazy stallion, sure he acted up at times but that didn't make him crazy. She knew that and didn't care what anyone else thought.
As the stallion galloped off through the trees it was like someone had switched a magic button. Rio stopped his chase and turned, trotting back toward Jodie and Glory. Quite calmly he put his head to the ground to nibble on some of the grass. Nodding his head gently he turned it toward the oppisite direction from were Eva had travelled and noticed a fallen log. Whinnying exitedly he walked toward it then stopped asking for permission.

Wyatt smiled, releasing a pent up breath as he turned the stallion in a circle, then pushed him into a canter towards the log. It was amazing that Jodie had been able to ride him at all, but, along with some other comments about the beautiful girl, he didn't say it.
