Jodie Davis enterd the trail astride her beautiful black stallion Rio, he was knew to her as she was to him and it was her first time on him. She started off at a steady trot but not for long.... Five miniuets later horse and rider were cantering at full pelt across the grassland. Using all her strength and expeirience Jodie managed to get him a little more collected. Then she forgot about boring ol' English games and let him go.
Half an hour late Rio finnaly got bored of going in no perticular direction and stopped suddenly. Minus her brand new cowgirl hat Jodie dismounted hot and tierd. They had stopped by a large lake so she let Rio have a drink. She found a large stick, pointed at one end and stuck it in the ground next to the lake and some dewy grass. She picked up Rio's headcollar from her saddlehorn, wich had somehow stayed on, and slipped it under his bridle, easier said than done, fixed the leadrope on and looped it over the stick.
Exaughsted she loosend his girth and then took a small sheet out of her saddle bag and lay upon it, the sun beating down on her hatless face.

Wyatt walked tGlory over the trails that he had learned very well over the past few weeks. He'd strayed out here with hopes of seeing Eva again, but, to no avail. Nor had he seen her in town, the few times he went there. He was hoping to meet her today, though he doubted that he actually would. He had a distinct feeling that it would be a while before their paths crossed again. But he was out here, looking all the same, for she had been intoxicating in her own strange way. He knew that he really shouldn't see her again, otherwise his feelings might become too complicated, and he couldn't bear that. He was used to being free, he didn't like getting to know girls to well because then they could get a good grip on him with their claws, which he was certain all females had, all females but Glory of course. He smiled at the thought, patting the mare's neck gently, pulling her to a stop as he saw the horse up ahead. He looked about, seeing the girl laying on the sheet. Despite his thoughts, he jumped off the mare, jogging towards the girl he believed to be Eva. Eva! Hey, where 've you been? He said, walking towards her with a smooth gait that belied his 190 pounds of pure muscle.

Jodie jumped out of her skin at the sound of another persons voice, she had heard hooves and thinking they belonged to Rio, had made nothing about it. As she opend her eyes, her gaze fell upon the man who stood before her. Then she rememberd his words. Eva she thought, he must think I am this Eva person She smiled shly, "Um I think you've got the wrong girl, still smiling she turned away slightly and started to pack her stuff up. Once Jodie had stuffed all of her belongings into her saddle bag she turned back. " If you tell me what she looks like I may be able to help?." Tossing her blonde hair out of her bluey, gray eyes. Then walked over to Rio whom had started to whinny at her for attention. glad that he was finnaly showing her some trust, she walked over and gentley started to stroke his velvet muzzle. Then she noticed his intrest in a pretty Arabian mare. Giggling slightly she lent against his shoulder, stroking his mane. "Your horse? gesturing toward the palomino, " What's her name?

When Wyatt got a little closer, he realized that it wasn't Eva, and his face fell a bit. Then she said what he now knew. " I think you've got the wrong girl." He sighed softly at her next words. Naw, she's probably long gone by now. He said, shaking his head. It was the only time that a girl had left him, instead of the other way around. He couldn't understand it, but, then agian, he hadn't understood a lot about her. He smiled over at Glory, then looked at the stallion. Her names Golden Glory. I just call her Glory though. He said as he looked over the stallion. What's your stallions name? He asked politely as he stroked Glory's neck.

Glory, It suite's her, smiling polietly, she touched the mare's muzzle, then in hearing his next words continued "His name is Dark Reonion.I don't know why his last owners decided to call him that, as he's a right sweety. But I call him Rio. then remembering her manners, I'm Jodie by the way holding out her hand.

He took her hand, still watching the stallion carefully. I'm Wyatt, well, Jake actually, but everyone just calls me Wyatt. He said, smiling at Jodie before looking at Glory. He nodded as he watched her for a second, then shifted his eyes back to the stallion.

Letting her hand drop to her side she smiled back. Then followed his gave to Rio, "You can ride him, if you want? adding the second part to her sentence quickly. Although he is pretty hyped up at the mo, It would be great if you could wear him out a lil bit smiling sweetly she petted his forehead.

{Nope, it's open ;D )
Wyatt's mouth kicked up at the corners, revealing a dazzling row of straight, solid white teeth. He looked at the stallion, a cold assesment in his eye as he watched for a moment more, examining the restless stallion. Surely it would do both the stags some good, a wild ride was definitly what Wyatt could use right now, though he spoke none of the words aloud. He stepped forward, easing Glory's reins into Jodie's hand as he took Rio's, watching him with a smile that was as full of pleasure as any he'd ever known. Slowly, he turned the stallion in a circle, speaking to him with motions rather than words, telling him that he was nor predator nor inferior creature. Stopping the stallion once more with a quick look, he stepped forward, tighting the cinch with quick, efficient motions. Then, without another look or word, he was in the saddle, positioned perfectly as he landed, waiting to see if the stallion would try to throw him, or if he would accept his duty like most of his kind. Wyatt's body was braced, but calm, relaxed against the studs back, not a bit of nervousness was sent through the reins, only anticipation moved through the broad-shouldered cowboy.

[Why do you stare me down?] [Am I wrong?] [Should I turn and kiss the ground?] [And I never felt that way]
Bareback, again on the white beast of a horse. Thundering down the path of the grassland trails, just like she had done when she first got here. This time she held no reins, her fingers clasped around the ivory locks of her Andalusian, she wore no helmet, no gloves, and no shoes. She was barefooted, adventurous and daring. But Malibu was the closest she could get to an angel right now, that wasn’t the same for Dan though. Her English Thoroughbred was a devil at heart, always a chore [though fun] to ride. Malibu was her stallion she could lean on when she needed a shoulder to cry on, though he didn’t know what she was crying about. Down the path the horse and rider churned, hooves hitting the ground in an elegant waltz of a gallop, Eva’s arms pumping into his neck as she urged him faster. No one had been on this trail since the day she had come here, it had been lonely, but a wonderful experience for the flight of a racehorse. But then she heard voices, and Eva sat deep into Malibu’s cushioned back, slowly slowing to a trot, and then a walk. There was a line of trees blocking the view of the people whom were talking, so she weaved Malibu through until she came to the other side. What she saw almost made her jaw drop, almost. “Wyatt!” She said, a smile crossing her elegant features. She nudged her stallion towards him, but stopping as he was sitting on another horse. Wondering whose horse it was, she snaked her eyes around until she found a girl. “Hi…” She said, and then glanced back to the cowboy again. She smirked, perfectly groomed eyebrows rising as she looked at him. “Not again, Wyatt. Picking up lonely girls off the trail, eh?” She said, laughing as she sat comfortably upon her stallions back while he wandered to the nearest patch to munch on some grass, and Eva let him with a small pat on his neck.

"Hi," she replyed, looking at the girl on the beautiful stallion. Then she rememberd what Wyatt had said. So this must be Eva... she wonderd. Still holding Glory's reins her hand tensed a little but soon relaxed, stroking the mare's forelock and speaking softly to her. Thinking the pair wanted to be alone she turned Glory away and walked toward the river bank. Staring out across the water she became lost in thought.
At the presence of another Stallion, Rio put his ears back and bared his teeth. Being a very dominant horse and being hyped up at the moment he became destressed and started shifting his hoves on the ground and whinnying noisy threats to the stallion. Snaking his neck out he stalked forward, not only testing this colts reaction but also his new riders strength.

Wyatt set a firm, but gentle grip on the reins, ignoring Eva for a moment as he listened to the stallion, testing his abilities as well as his mental capabilities. He watched Jodie, confused for a moment as she walked away. He felt Rio tense underneath him, and he turned him away from the other stallion, moving him towards the mare. Jodie! Wyatt called after her, hoping to make her turn around. Can you bring Glory back this way, I think she kinda puts Rio at ease. He said in a loud voice, hoping it would carry to the girl that was quickly disappearing down the river bank. He smirked boyishly at Eva again, but then he turned all of his attentions to the stallion, knowing if he didn't stayed focus that he would probably be thrown. So...Where have you been? He asked, though he didn't look at her again, he focused on the stallion, barely listening for her reply.

Hearing Wyatts shout Jodie calmly turned Glory back round and walked her toward the stallion. Scenting Glory on the breeze clame Rio down but made him fire up inside, what if this Stallion took the mare while he had his back turned. He half bucked confused and fustrated testing Wyatt to the limit. As he hit the ground again he swriled lightly now facing his enemy. Suprised the stallion had not yet threatend him yet he snaked his neck in his direction again but settled as yet again he saw Jodie, and Glory. Then he thought back and realised something had happend that had never happend before in his life, someone had listend to him. Apart from Jodie none had listend and not pulled back hard with the reins. That must of been why he had not full bucked he thought. Amazed at himself aswell as his rider.

Wyatt easily sat through the motions, keeping his seat with an ease and smile that told of patience that had never fully been pushed to the limit. He never lost his patience with a horse, and, a horse never lost it's patience with him. He had a way of communicating with animals through mere motions, and, while he rarely spoke to animals with others around, he did believe that they could understand words as much as they could understand movements. With firm hands, and a gentle grip Wyatt turned the stallion away from the other again, calmly asking him to trust him as well as the other stallion's rider. Though Wyatt was not sure of any of Eva's horse-riding abilities, he didn't doubt that she could keep her beast calm. He slightly squeezed his thighs and then his knees, asking Rio to walk towards Glory and Jodie, while his back was to the large white stallion.

Gentle eyes flew over Wyatt, then back to the girl. She half smiled, running her hand along Malibu’s neck as she squeezed her leg so they did a leg yield out of their way. “I’m Eva, and you are?” She wondered, half expecting the girl to be like, ‘Oh, I’m someone or other, but I’m Wyatt’s girlfriend.’ But she waited, and she would control her fiery personality, just like she always did. She watched as the girl’s stallion acted up slightly, with Wyatt controlling him with gentle, quiet aids. A vague smirk crossed her lips, now really; the girl ought to teach her stallion how to behave. Not that she had much success with Dan…
Glancing back to Wyatt, she shrugged even though he wasn’t looking at her. He had his hands full right now it seemed. “Around.” She said, a half smile playing on her lips as he watched him settling the horse. Malibu didn’t react to much, only when other horses launched themselves at him would he take the time to get angry – or even. The white beast snorted, deep mocha eyes focused on the foolish brute, daggers digging into the ground with his weight. He did a small rear, though not much of one as he wasn’t going to waste his time on him but halfway in the air, Eva grabbed his locks tightly and used her legs to turn him the other way from the horse and Wyatt.
She didn’t know what to say now; he seemed rather distant, even if he was riding a horse. She glanced at the girl, a small frown making its way as she turned her face, working Malibu into the trees and slowly going further from the pair.
