nothing better to do on a saturday morning
than go get a cup of coffee? well, someone
doesn't have a life. and who might that be?
jake, for your information. he sat alone at
a booth, drinking the awful black coffee by
himself, wondering if he would ever meet
anyone here. he doubted it. he rolled his
eyes, taking another sip of his coffee before
the bell on the door rang. someone was
coming in. he raised his brown eyes to lay
upon one of the most beautiful women he
had ever seen in his life. he had to keep his
jaw from dropping down so he wouldn't look
stupid. as if he didn't look like that enough
already. i mean, alone, in the coffee shop? since
when was that the standard? hey. he
smiled welcomingly toward the girl who had
just passed him. guess he'd be sitting alone
for a bit longer.

Novalle walked into the coffee shop. Another day in this hellish place. She walked in, glancing around, her vibrant blue eyes stopping on a guy, a particularly cute guy. She walked past him, flashing his a dazzling smile as she walked to the counter. Stopping, she watched him out of the corner of her eye. Hmmm, very cute. Maybe this town isn't so bad after all. Crossing all finger, please don't be stupid, please don't be stupid. (Lol) I'll have a coffee with two sugars and one creamer. She reported, her soft beautiful voice resonating through the small room, the small, almost empty room. She waited until her order was done and grabbed her coffee, tossing the clerk a soft smile. Then, moving as gracefully as her name sake, she walked over to the boys table, sitting down across from him. She extended her small hand to him. Hi. I'm Novalle Rawley. Who are you? She asked, her tones friendly and a bit flirty, but it was hard to recognize the latter.

jake smiled gently toward novalle,
his smile widening as she sat down
across from him. he sat there, almost
dazed for a moment before reaching
out to take her hand, quickly. "i'm
jacob henly. but you can call me jake."
he smiled. or handsome... he
thought, smirking. so how long
have you lived here, gorgeous?
he grinned, taking a sip of his coffee
before setting it aside, deciding the
girl was obviously much more interesting.

Novalle smirked, settling back into the chair. Hmmm, flattering wasn't he? Her soft laughter resounded through the coffee shop. Apparently just a little longer than you, handsome. She smirked, her perfect, plump rose colored lips shaping into an excited smile.

jake smiled toward novalle. "so...
got any brothers?" he said
cautiously. his last girlfriend had
a brother who had tried to shoot
him. and successfully done so. he
had a scar near his collarbone to
prove so. he grinned toward
novalle. jake could be such a jerk.
but he was a sweet jerk. "pretty
girl's brothers don't get along with
me well." he said, pulling down
the top of his shirt so she could see
the scar from the bullet. right to the
point, are we jake? yes. very much so.

Her mocking laughter filled the room, she laughed so hard. Wow. Steer clear of me then, Buster. I've got one brother that's a perfect shot with a six-gun and his two best friends are about as crazy about protecting me as he is. All three of them have licenses for consealed weapons. She giggled, how funny. Hadn't been about three years ago, today that Colt shot Tex for kissing her? Yep, around this time. Still laughing, she stood up, walking away. No doubt that he would be too scared to get involved with her now, but that didn't matter, she still found the whole situation hysterical.

have pushed him away, but it only
made him want her more. "oh
come on, novalle." he said,
walking after her quickly. he took
her arm, pulling her back. "you
know, i'm pretty scarred up, but i
think i still have some room for more.
i can take it." he shrugged,
smiling. "so are you doing
anything tonight...with your
brothers?" he smirked.

She glared down at his hand for a second, then looked up at his handsome, smirking face. What, so your not scared now? Didn't sound like it a minute ago. She snarled, her large, doe-like eyes narrowed. Alright, if your not to scared then pick me up at my apartment at 8. My brother might be there, and he might not, don't worry if you chicken out. Trust me, once you meet Colt, then it's toatally bormal for a guy like you. She replied sweetly then turned, stalking out of the coffee shop, her hips swaying seductively.
