Reno sauntered in to The Flying Tomato, his face drawn in a tight scowl. His raven black hair shown in the light, his high-cheekbones and handsome features telling of his Cheyenne ancestry. His skin was tanned from the sun and his ancestry. He was very different from his best friends, Tex and Colt. He was smoother, while they were rough. He was smarter. He always had his temper in check and he never showed any emotions to anyone. He was the strong silent type. He held a lot of resemblance to Colt, except he was a bit darker than him, and, of course, his eyes. His eyes where a light amber, the exact color of the whisky he used to drink so often. After a bar-room brawl and a shoot out, he'd sobered up. Liquor had hampered his reaction and he was a fraction off his draw. He'd received 7 scars that night, 5 from bullets, 2 from the chair that someone broke over his head. 6 great men had died that night, 4 from Reno's own gun, and Reno would have been among them if it wasn't for Colt. After that he'd sworn off liquor and never again picked up the bottle. He rarely talked now, but when he did have something to say, then people listened. He was more open around people he knew and Colt and Tex had known him to be quite a chatterbox at times, but this was different. He was new to this place, he only knew his three friends, who were more like family. He'd be quiet, but he'd talk when the moment called for it. He wasn't rude, he wasn't nice. He wasn't anything but Reno.

Reno's eyes cut to the young woman sitting at the booth. He hesitated then moved over cautiously, sitting down across from her. His eyes swept around the room, then came back to settle on the girl. His eyes were so strange. They were bright gold, but very unsettling. They almost looked like cat-eyes as he looked around. His facial expression didn't change as he grabbed a menu and scanned it hungrily. Colt didn't know he was here, neither did Tex, or Novalle. This lady was the first person he'd seen so far.

Reno looked at the waitress and scanned her slowly. Then he looked down at the menu again. Bring me a black coffee, will ya Ma'am, and...a slice of the sumpreme with extra jalapenos, please. His deep voice drowned the chatter of nearby people, a few turned around to see the owner of the deep, rich, seductive voice. His voice was only slightly deeper than Colts, but it had a smoother tone to it, many people had remarked that his voice reminded them of mollases. He'd always found it a weird comparison. He flashed the waitress a smile as she walked away to fill their orders. Suddenly, his eyes shot back to the girls and he reguarded them with a scowl as he studied them closely, his scrutinizing gaze terrifying to some. Then, as slowly as everything about him, and as cautiously, a smile broke through his features. It was calm, reassuring. He didn't want Colt to know he was here yet, nor Tex. He'd have to catch Tex by suprise whem he found him. He'd heard the rumors of his rude behavior with a certain young lady, and he'd make sure that Tex was put in his place, quick. Tex had always been a hothead, but he'd always been younger, not as strong. Now, he could easily fight Colt or Reno and hold his own. So Reno would have to have the advantage of suprise when he found him, he'd have to show up, and sock him good. Make sure that he got the first hit, otherwise he might be the one that got taught a lesson in manners. He smirked at the thought, and looked at the girls again. It's nice to meet ya. You can call me...hmmm...well, I'll tell you my name, but you can't tell anybody that I'm here, alright? Well, not yet anyway. He asked as he looked towards the door. He was a bit edgy, but he'd get over it, as soon as he found Tex.

Reno saw the way they looked at him, but he didn't entice their interests. They were pretty, and seemed smart, but he wasn't ready to settle down just yet, and he was a bit picky when it came to ladies. Although, these two seemed to be everything he had ever thought he wanted, he still didn't know them very well. He wasn't even very sure how well or how long he'd get to know them, maybe he'd stay, maybe he wouldn't. He just wasn't sure yet. He smiled at the waitress as she brought him his coffee. She was more his type, down-to-earth, practical. He didn't have anything but his horses, and when he found a girl, she wouldn't be spoiled, or expect anything from him but his unconditional love, for he was poor, in a sense, and didn't have anything else to give. He pulled his tan cowboy hat off and plunked it on the seat beside him, he ran a hand through his soft, slightly curly, black hair. He then took a long swig of the black coffee and sighed, his eyes narrowing a bit as he looked at thm. Satisfied that they were telling the truth, he proceeded. Reno. But remember, I was never here. He said, his deep, smooth voice drawing furtive, smitten glances from nearby women. He smirked casually at some of them, scowled at others. He looked down at his coffee, his large right hand encircling it completly. He was a huge man, yet fit, well-muscled. There was not an inch of fat on his entire body. He was solid muscle. He stood aaround 6' 4" and had wide, broad shoulders that tapered down to his thin, yet solid waist. His legs were long, but thick with the muscles that came from living in the saddle for months at a time. His arms were just as well-muscled, but from the heavy lifting that his job required. Everything about him had a strange, stone-like quality, even his eyes were hard when he stared around the room, taking in the people and the sights.

Reno downed the last of the bitter, black, scalding hot coffee, and he stood up, smiling as the waitress brought their food. He pulled out his leather wallet and handed her a generous twenty for the food, paying for both his and the girls. He smiled Keep the change for yourself. He then turned towards Lindsay and Ali, giving them a secret wink. Some questions are better off unanswered. It was nice to meet both of you, perhaps I'll see you around. He said, grabbing his cowboy hat and replacing it on his head. Then, glancing at his watch, he left the pizza house without eating anything.

Reno just kept walking. He had some things to take care of before he got cozy with any females. He knew what she was thinking, and he was mysterious. All woman he met thought so. Why it attracted them, he'd never know. He was handsome, but that wasn't the only reason women were drawn to him. He was confident, but not arrogant. He knew what he had and what he didn't, he didn't brag about what he had and he didn't like people who did. He would rather spend time with any horse than a woman, and whenever he dated someone, he told 'em that, and usually that caused them to leave. But their were some women who weren't looking for anything long term, just a short fling. Those kind of women and him didn't mix very well. Of course, he'd had plenty of 'em, but just for fun. He'd never got serious with any kind of girl, he just wasn't that kind of person. He had worked out his own lifestyle. He'd be somewhere one day and gone the next, never to return. Wh9ich was the only reason he dated girls that didn't want him to commit. To be truthful, commitments scared him, he didn't want anything that would tie him down, he needed to be free to run whenever he felt the need. He was a loner, and he was used to it that way. The only family he ever had was the Rawley's and Tex. He'd moved more than one place with that bunch and returned many times. He followed them sometimes, but normally he would crash with them a couple of nights and disappear early one morning. He'd been all over the world by age 22. There wasn't a country he hadn't been too. He had been in China before he came here, and Indonesia before that. He had traveled everywhere, and had seen everything. Or, at least, he thought he had. Did this town have the one thing that he'd looked for, but never once saw? Was there truly a woman out their for him, or was he just looking for false gold? Novalle had always told him that love was real, he was starting to doubt it. Did anyone here have what it took to change his mind?
