Alison sat on the porch swing her slightly curly red hair drifting in the soft wind. She wore a low black V neck with a white shirt underneath. She had on a beautiful gold necklace with a gold horse shoe on it with the letters HS in themiddle. Her short blue jean skirt hugged her butt and went down to her fingertips when she let her arms hand down. She wore simple black flip flops and she felt really dressed up but it was to late to change she realizde as Reno pulled into the driveway.eight o clock, right on time.

Reno pulled the old dodge truck into the driveway at exactly eight o' clock, and leaned over to shove open the passenger door when it stopped. The truck was anything but pretty, and more than a bit messy inside. Wrenches and tire irons flooded the back seat, and he quickly gathered up his t-shirts and jeans and threw them in the back. A lot of the time he lived out of his truck, and it showed by the messy, but livable interior. A large blue blanket a pillow were shoved into the back seat and he dropped an old, tin coffepot under the seats. He smiled as Ali approached the truck, waiting and wondering were she would want to go.

Reno laughed softly as he coaxed the truck onto the road. I guess I was just about to ask you the same question. How about italian food? Well, I guess it's either that or coffee. He chuckled remembering that they only had Italian food restaurants here. The truck sputtered, attempting to take a nap, but he switched gears quickly and led the truck down the road as if it was gentle mare instead of a useless piece of metal.

Reno nodded. Alright, I know a nice little place down the road a ways. He said as he turned the truck towards the town square. He glanced around, knowing exactly where he was. He was never lost, even if he didn't know where he was, he wasn't lost, for he always knew where he was going and how to get there.

Reno smiled in the darkness. Ali. What a name. What a woman. He shook his head to clear his thoughts. No woman was perfect, that he knew very distinctly. No woman would ever love him. He knew that even better. Plenty of women had liked him, plenty of women wanted to be able to brag about dating a handsome half-breed, but not one of them had ever wanted to marry him, none of them had wanted anything other than something to talk about, and, back home, he had been a regular subject. He tightened his grop on the wheel, Ali hadn't seemed like one of those girls, but neither had the two preacher's daughters he had dated. He had accepted long ago that he wouldn't marry and he learned long ago that there was no such thing as love. He had never told anyone all of his secrets, he had never trusted anyone enough. Not even Colt, or Tex knew all the things that tormented him, but he kept it all bottled up, refusing to ever break down. Out of everything, strength was his greatest asset, and he knew it. He worked out twice a day, keeping himself strong and lean, for without his incredible strength, he'd be just like every other half-breed in the country. He and Colt both learned long ago that having parents of different races isolated you to a life of inferioirity, but Colt had broken free, and he hardly looked Sioux at all. He appeared more white than Indian, but it was different for Reno, he was more Indian, and everyone noticed it.
(I'll start a post at the vineyard restraunt.)
